Mind-Body Medicine

"Evidence that the mind and body influence each other abounds. And suggests something much stranger: That awareness isn't confined to the brain; it operates 'nonlocally,' beyond the biochemical lines between brain and, say, the immune system. I have t0 remind myself sometimes why the conventional approach is the conventional approach. Because it works (duh) or is accepted as the "standard" because there is nothing better. I am always looking for a better way. When it comes to human maladies there are plenty of better, unconventional ways.
